The executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon oluwaseun Olufade has congratulated Muslims on the beginning of New Islamic year.

In a message made available through his head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu, Olufade urged the Muslim umah to use the opportunity to pray for the development, achievements, and peace in Ibadan north local government, oyo state, and Nigeria.

His message reads:

As we mark the beginning of the New Islamic Year, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to all Muslims in Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

This significant occasion of Hijrah 1446 AH is a time for reflection, renewal, and recommitment to the values that define our faith and community.

As we commemorate this blessed period, I urge all Muslims to use this New Year as an opportunity to pray for the development, achievements, and peace in our local government, state, and nation.

Let our prayers be a source of strength and guidance as we strive for progress and unity in all our endeavors.

Moreover, I implore everyone to show love and compassion to one another, irrespective of our different religious beliefs.

It is through understanding and mutual respect that we can build a harmonious and inclusive society where every individual feels valued and respected.

May this Hijrah 1446 AH inspire us all to emulate the exemplary conduct of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), characterized by strong faith, perseverance, and trustworthiness.

As we celebrate this special occasion, I pray that we may be granted the grace to witness many more of such celebrations on earth. May this Islamic New Year bring new beginnings, fresh starts, and countless blessings to all.
