The Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF) founded by Agba’Akin Benedict Akika has launched four local government and zonal branch in the Oyo Federal Constituency, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s efforts to promote grassroots development and good governance.

The launch event, which took place at the Idiope primary school along owode-Akesan Road, Oyo west local Government, was attended by prominent stakeholders, including traditional leaders, religious leaders, and political figures.

In his keynote address, the OBF Founder, Chief Benedict Akika, emphasized the importance of community engagement and participation in the development process. He urged members to work together to promote the values of transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.

The Oyo Federal Constituency zonal branch comprises the four local governments; Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West.
The branch will be led by seasoned coordinators, Dauda Temitope Wahab as Zonal Coordinator while Alex Olawale Oladosu as Afijio local Government Coordinator, Adewale Saheed as Atiba local Government Coordinator, Adejare Taofeek Adekunle as Oyo East local Government Coordinator and Adeyemo Mumini Olalekan as Oyo West local Government Coordinator, who have individually pledged to mobilize members to support the forum’s objectives.

The Omituntun Benedict Forum has been at the forefront of promoting good governance and community development in Oyo State, and the launch of its zonal branch in Oyo Federal Constituency is a testament to its commitment to grassroots engagement.
