Former special adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on local government and chieftaincy matters, Hon. Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire, has extended his congratulations to Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan for their successful football season.
The team, popularly known as the Oluyole Warriors, concluded their season with a decisive victory on Sunday, June 23, 2024, against Sporting Lagos, with a goal scored by Christian Pyagbara.
The match, attended by Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, highlighted the team’s achievements.
Hon. Kazim Bibire expressed his gratitude to Governor Makinde for his unwavering support, acknowledging his efforts in elevating Shooting Stars FC.
He praised Governor Makinde as a sports-loving leader and commended him for providing the team with a world-class stadium, which he noted has significantly motivated the Oluyole Warriors.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Kazim also extended appreciation to the chairman of Shooting Stars FC, Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan Abiodun, popularly known as Akoro, and the team’s coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, for their exceptional work throughout the season.
He wished them, the supporters club and the entire team continued success in future seasons.
