The Agba’Akin Ataiyse Omoluabi Oodua, Omoluabi Pataki Oloye Benedict Akika, a renowned philanthropist, had always been passionate about empowering communities. He had supported various initiatives and causes, but one organization held a special place in his heart – the Nigerian Beauticians/Hairdressers Association (NBHA) Oyo State.
While commissioning the borehole and generator which he donated to Nigerian Beauticians/Hairdressers Association (NBHA) Oyo State, the Mayegun of Akoboland, Chief Akika became a trusted partner and friend to the organization and Akika’s contributions didn’t go unnoticed.
The association’s leadership and members were grateful for his unwavering support. They recognized his dedication and generosity by conferring on him the highest honor – Life Grand Patron of Nigerian Beauticians/Hairdressers Association (NBHA) Oyo State, once held by the Late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III
The presence was performed by the founder Chief (Mrs) Olubunmi Adesanya JP and president Chief (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Oladapo among other executive officers.
As Life Grand Patron, Akika continued to provide guidance and support, helping the association expand its reach and services. His philanthropy inspired others to follow his lead, and soon, Nigerian Beauticians/Hairdressers Association (NBHA) Oyo State became a beacon of hope for many in the community.
Akika’s legacy extended beyond his financial contributions. He invested his time and expertise, helping to develop strategic plans and programs that benefited the association and its members. His selflessness and commitment earned him the respect and admiration of all.
