Yesterday, June 10,2024, the Bodija market Foodstuffs Sellers Association paid a congratulatory and courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, at his council office.
The delegation was led by the Babaloja of Bodija, Alhaji S.A. Jimoh, and included representatives from all units of market sellers in Bodija.
During the visit, the association congratulated Hon. Olufade on his assumption of office as the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Alhaji S.A. Jimoh commended Olufade for the significant changes he has already implemented in the council.
He assured the chairman of the association’s support and thanked him for the warm reception they received.
Alhaji S.A Jimoh prayed for a successful tenure for Olufade, expressing hope that his leadership would bring tremendous positive impact to the people of Ibadan North.
He described Olufade as calm, brilliant, brainy, and humane.
In his remarks, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed gratitude to the Bodija market Foodstuffs Sellers Association for their visit and the support they extended.
He promised to always respond to their needs and concerns promptly.
Olufade also urged the sellers to maintain cleanliness in the market and foster love, peace, and harmony among themselves.
The entourage included the Babaloja of Ibadan North, Alhaji Muniru Bolaji, the former chairman of Bodija Market Foodstuffs Sellers, Alhaji Musiliu (popularly known as Energy), Sulaimon Ile Omo, and representatives from all units of the Bodija Foodstuffs Market.
