Akeem Olatunji, the executive chairman of Oluyole local government has expressed warm felicitations to the wife of Governor Seyi Makinde and Oyo state First Lady, Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the auspicious occasion of her 52nd birthday anniversary celebration.
The celebratory message which echoed the adage “A golden fish has no hiding place,” lauded Mrs. Makinde as the epitome of a virtuous woman and pride of womanhood.
Olatunji, in a congratulatory message on Sunday June 9 described the First Lady as a selfless mother who has relentlessly committed her life to the cause of the women and children in the society.
Known for her passion and dedication to numerous social including championing the cause of the girl-child, received effusive accolades from Olatunji, who underpinned her invaluable contributions to society, calling on women around the world to emulate her.
Olatunji equally commended her unwavering support for her husband, the Executive Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, describing her as a pillar of strength behind the scenes. “A golden fish indeed, has no hiding place,” Olatunji emphasized.
The Oluyole Council boss also commended the First Lady for championing women’s rights and empowerment initiatives which has placed Oyo state at an enviable height among other states of the federation in terms of advocacy for women and child rights.
“As the wife of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the Oyo state First Lady, Mrs. Makinde has embraced her role with elegance and compassion and earned admiration for her selflessness, and philanthropic endeavors as well as advocacy work.
“She is an epitome of the Biblical virtuous woman. Her selflessness and dedication to the cause of womanhood and children are unparalleled and we’re more than lucky to have more than a First Lady in Oyo state, we’re particularly blessed to have a loving, caring and passionate mother in her.
” Her legacies will transcend generations to come and we’re very proud to be here witnessing first-hand, her immeasurable and invaluable contributions to the development and growth of our society at large.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Oluyole local government, we wish Her Excellency, the Oyo state’s First Lady, Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, a happy birthday and pray God to continue to keep and uphold her in the service to the state and humanity at large.” Olatunji concludes.
