The executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has appointed his vice, Niyi Akorede as the Political Head of Akorede Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Consequently, the Oluyole Council boss has officially deployed his deputy to take over the administration of the LCDA with immediate effect.
Similarly, Engr. Olatunji has presented appointment letters to his Chief of Staff, Azeez Babalola, as well as his Personal Assistant (PA) Sulaiman Olatunji.
The presentation of appointment letters to the new aides and subsequent deployment of the political head to the LCDA held in the chairman’s office at the Council Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre on Friday, June 7.
The event was witnessed by the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oluyole, Alhaji Adegbola Mikail, and representatives of Oluyole ward Chairmen, Alh. Maruf.
In his brief remarks, Engr. Olatunji charged the new Political Head of Akorede LCDA to be guided by the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde and align his programs with the sustainable development agenda.
While congratulating his aides who have been presented their official appointment letters, he charged them to endeavour to be committed and dedicated to the work they have been appointed to do stressing that to ‘whom much is given, more is expected.’
