In a strategic move to ensure a seamless transition of power at the grassroots level, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, the Chairman-elect of the Atiba local government, has officially appointed eminent personalities and key figures to serve on the transition committee alongside the outgoing administration of Hon. Mrs. Mojisola Kafilat Olakojo.

The transition committee will be headed by Comrade Ayinde Isiaka Adejare, a seasoned administrator and former Secretary of the local government Education Authority (LGEA)in Atiba.

His vast wealth of experience has been tasked with guiding the committee towards a smooth transfer of power.

Additionally, the transition committee chairman’s expertise in local politics and community engagement has positioned him well for this crucial role.

The committee, comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, aims to uphold principles of transparency, fairness, and equity in the transfer of responsibilities, as enshrined in the restoration agenda. Each member brings unique skills and insights to the table.

The committee members are as follows:

  1. Comrade Ayinde Isiaka Adejare — Chairman
  2. Hon. Goke Azeez — Vice Chairman
  3. Alhaji Mohammed M. Olarenwaju — Secretary

Other members include:

  1. Hon. Adebisi Fatimo Motunrayo — Member
  2. Alhaji Saheed Olasunkanmi Babalola — Member
  3. Mr. Ganiyu Surajudeen Abolore — Member
  4. Mr. Akanbi Fatai Adesina — Member

Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem expressed confidence in the capabilities of the committee members to facilitate a smooth transition and successful inauguration.

He reiterated the importance of productive collaboration with the outgoing administration for the continuity of governance, leading to the legacy of the restoration agenda and effective service delivery to the Royal Council.
