The Turaki Adini of Oyo State, Engr Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem Mogaji Adanla, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Hon. Stanley Olajide, a.k.a Odidiomo, the House of Representatives Member representing Ibadan Southwest and Northwest federal constituency, on the passing of his father, Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Turaki Adini who just returned from Saudi Arabia, expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy for the loss experienced by Hon. Stanley Olajide and his entire family.
Adanla, who is the C. E.O Afia Construction and Building Engineering, also extended his condolences to the people of Ibadan Southwest/Northwest federal constituency, acknowledging the significant role Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide played as their representative at the Green Chamber.
Reflecting on the bond formed with Hon. Stanley Olajide during their time together in Mecca during the last Umrah pilgrimage, Mogaji Adanla shared poignant memories of their conversations, where a significant portion revolved around the values instilled by his father.
“Odidiomo’s spirit possibly telling him of his father’s preparation for departure,” remarked Mogaji Adanla, highlighting the deep connection between father and son and the profound impact of parental teachings.
“My father taught us to be very God-fearing, not to use wealth or position to oppress others. I didn’t see Mohammed, but my father is a very good example of a role model,” he continued, emphasizing the importance of humility, piety, and respect for others’ dignity, values that Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide exemplified and passed down to his son.
