The Chairman of Pacesetter Transport Service, PTS, Dr Ibraheem Oladimeji Salami, popularly known as Dikko, has stated that the Agency is building a legacy with the Sustainable Action for Economic Recovery, SAfER initiative of the current administration.
Dikko, who stated this During an interview on Honor 103.5FM, in the program titled “NINU OKO OMITUNTUN” hosted by seasoned presenter Balogun Samson, Dikko highlighted the impactful strides of the SAfER Bus Scheme in the state.
He noted that under the astute leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde and his stewardship, the SAfER Bus Scheme has been a revolutionized transportation reshaping the daily experience for residents and visitors alike.
According to him, the visionary initiative of the governor is marked by affordability, convenience, and efficiency, which has garnered widespread acclaim for its tangible benefits including affordable transportation; convenient payment system, reduction in traffic congestion and interconnectivity.
Furthermore, Dikko unveiled the expansion plans aimed at extending the reach of the SAfER Bus Scheme to neighboring states and beyond, facilitating seamless travel experiences across Nigeria.
In his words: “Beyond its immediate impact, the SAfER Bus Scheme forms part of a comprehensive strategy to enhance transportation infrastructure holistically.
“From road repairs to traffic management initiatives and the integration of alternative modes like bike/Tricycle lanes, the Oyo State Government is committed to ensuring safe and efficient mobility for all.
“So, that is why in essence, the SAfER Bus Initiative signifies a commitment to building a lasting legacy for Oyo State, ensuring its prosperity and accessibility for generations to come.
“Oyo State is on the move with the SAfER Bus Scheme paving the way for a brighter, more interconnected future.”
