“Today, I join other family members, friends and associates to celebrate a wonderful amazon and my dear big sister, Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu as she marks 65 years of impact.
Sister Monsura, as she is fondly called, has remained a household name and positive reference point for her strength, tenacity and political dexterity.
She has been a pillar of support to many women and men alike, across and beyond Oyo state. She is indeed a role model and an inspiration to every young woman.
Through her Monsurat Sunmonu Women Empowerment Foundation (MOSWEF), she has impacted the lives of the people of our dear Oyo State, and beyond.
She has given hope and livelihoods to many families and her impact and legacies continue to bring forth joy.
I pray she witnesses many more years of God’s grace in good health.”
