As Agidigbo FM marks its third year anniversary, the Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Azeezat Abeo Nurudeen, has commended Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat’s charitable efforts in the pacesetter state.
Abeo, in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Ibadan, said that Agidigbo FM’s incredible accomplishment in the last three years as the most listened radio station in Oyo state cannot be overestimated.
She equally praised the Station for the important role it has played in restoring peace, especially when it comes to addressing domestic violence.
While commemorating the station’s landmark achievements, the Iyaloja General eulogized the station for its informative, amusing, and educational programs that have won over the throngs of listeners across the state and Nigeria at large.
She urged the management headed by Dr. Hamzat to sustain the Station’s legacy of promoting harmony and enlightening the public about important matters that will advance the state’s growth.
“As the radio station celebrates its third year of operation, I would like to congratulate Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat and the management team for the radio station’s contributions to the growth of Oyo state and the role it has played in promoting peace and combating domestic violence.
“Agidigbo has established a solid reputation for producing thought-provoking, entertaining, and educational programmes.
“It is a radio station that has teeming listeners across the state and beyond on account of its strong transmission capacity.
“I urge the management to continue maintaining the station’s heritage of promoting harmony and enlightening listeners on important matters for the growth of the state.”
