Aides of Oyo Deputy Governor Alhaji Abdulraheem Adebayo Lawal have extended their warm congratulations to him on the recognition award to be conferred by the Organizing Committee of the 10th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture Series scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, describing it as well-deserved.
Alhaji Kunle Sanni, the Special Assistant to the Oyo Deputy Governor on Administration, who spoke on behalf of other aides, stated that Alhaji Lawal has contributed immensely to the development of Islam and demonstrated a commitment to peace and religious tolerance among various faiths in the state.
According to him, the award confirms Barr. Lawal as a man of peace and an advocate of good governance.
While commending Governor Makinde for approving the award, Sanni noted that Lawal is a progressive politician who has continued to utilize his resources for the common good of all.
He said: “His exemplary leadership qualities have promoted religious tolerance and good neighborly co-existence among diverse religious sects in the state.
“Barr. Lawal has shown a firm resolve to work closely with Governor Seyi Makinde to create a better reality for every resident of Oyo State.
Sanni equally described Lawal as a gentleman, a pious Muslim, a loyal Deputy, and a role model, expressing delight that he is being recognized by the organizers of the Omituntun Ramadan Lecture Series 2024 edition.

The Omituntun Ramadan Lecture Series is an annual event organized by Governor Seyi Makinde. This year’s event marks the 10th anniversary.
