In a heartwarming display of empowerment and solidarity, the Excellent Ladies Club, a non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting the youth, particularly girls, marked International Women’s Day by clothing 100 students at Ifelodun Community Primary School, Muslim, Odinjo, Ibadan.

Led by Mrs. Ilori Ayetade Oluwaseyi, the President and Founder of the Excellent Ladies Club, the event began with inspiring remarks emphasizing the importance of education.

Mrs. Ilori urged the pupils to prioritize their studies, highlighting the pivotal role education plays in shaping their future.

Amidst the celebration, Mrs. Ilori took the opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of women in society, calling upon the government to ensure women’s inclusion in governance.

The event garnered notable attention, with the Secretary of the Association of Registered Social Youth Clubs (ARSOYOC) and a representative from the Agency for Youth and Sports, Mr. Adigun, in attendance.

Mr. Adigun shared words of encouragement with the students, emphasizing the virtues of focus, humility, diligence, and respect.

In a symbolic gesture, Mrs. Ilori, accompanied by members of the Excellent Ladies Club and school management, officially launched the clothing initiative by personally outfitting the students.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from the school management, marking the successful culmination of an impactful event.

The Excellent Ladies Club’s commitment to empowering young girls and providing them with the tools for a meaningful life continues to leave a lasting impact on the community.
