The Mayegun of Akoboland and AgbaAkin of Olorunda-Abaa, Oloye Benedict Akika has sympathized with the victims of Bodija and Environs of Ibadan on the uncommon explosion.
The explosion which rocks the city of Ibadan Tuesday night caused loss of lives and properties, also leaving many injured and presently in the hospitals.
Chief Benedict Akika expressed his great sadness of the scenario as it’s unexpected as the situation of the country.
The philanthropist however commended the good leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde for swift response on search and rescue of the victims, and provision of support to families affected.
He prayed for God’s intervention over the situation and admonished residents of Oyo State to be vigilant, and not involved in any illegal activities which could claim lives and properties.
