Excitement enveloped the atmosphere as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, and his vice, Badmus Olaide Ismail, along with all ten Councilorship candidates, successfully harmonized the Atiba Women Wing, pledging to uphold the principles of democratic dividends.

The event, held at L.A Primary School, Saabo Oyo, witnessed a massive turnout, including royal council women wings, local leaders, party officials, and stakeholders.

During her speech, Alhaja Afolabi Adijat Eleyin expressed confidence that Wabkem would provide reconciliatory leadership, addressing the party’s current challenges and establishing a visionary grassroots government.

She emphasized the importance of capacity building and the restoration of women’s participatory democracy, anticipating a hundred percent victory for all PDP candidates in Atiba council areas.

Alhaja Motunrayo Fasilat praised Wabkem as a man of the people, highlighting the warm welcome received during his diplomatic agenda to restore Atiba PDP’s legacy.

Mrs. Nurat Lola Alao, the Atiba PDP women leader, emphasized Wabkem’s commitment to democratic women empowerment and urged him to continue supporting the party’s growth.

Party Chairman Hon. Kabiru Ashamu and Secretary Hon. Kehinde Aleem assured Atiba PDP women wings of top-notch dividends of democracy under Adetunji’s regime.

They promised an open-door policy, a productive women entrepreneurship summit, and innovative tech-driven skills development.

Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji in his remarks, commended Atiba PDP women’s wings of warm reception, stating that together he’ll build a better life with a great responsibility to bring about positive change rather than slowing it down.

“Our restoration agenda is expressed in what we call; Reconciliation, Reorganisations, and Redirection, we’ll redirect our efforts towards winning elections, harmonizing all structures, restoring efficient infrastructure and nation-building, ng and not wrangling”.

After donating a whooping sum of 200,000 and other Christmas and New Year gifts, Wabkem says he’ll bring back the weekly meeting of the Atiba women’s wing, promises to meet them constantly to discuss, and dialogue on areas to Improve, and promote Atiba women’s constituency without favoritism, tribalism, and nepotism.

Wabkem’s entourage includes all councilorship candidates, Atiba PDP Party Chairman Hon. Kabiru Ashamu, Alhaji Alesinladu Mustapha, Hon. Kehinde Aleem, former party chairman Alhaji Muideen Tijani Oyedele, Hon. Kehinde Ifagbohun, Leader Atiba legislative arm Hon. Sunday Fadiran, Hon. Wasiu Salam, Alhaji Olanrewaju Muhammed, Super for Youths and Sports Hon. Salawudeen Olatunji, and Super for Agric Hon. Ajibola Afeez.

Together, this formidable team aims to champion visionary and pacesetter leadership at the grassroots level, reinforcing their commitment to the growth and development of Atiba local government.
