In a remarkable display of community appreciation, Lagelu West LCDA’s Oba Ololorunda of Olorunda, Oba Samuel Oludele Folarin, and a consortium of traditional baales gathered at the illustrious Palace to commend Chief Benedict Akika, Agbaakin Olorundaaba Aba and Mayegun of Akobo, for his consistent and impactful civic responsibilities in the area.

Oba Ololorunda, in an address resonating with gratitude, described Chief Akika as a paragon of responsibility and respect for elders.

Emphasizing Chief Akika’s unwavering dedication, Oba Ololorunda lauded his efforts in providing succor to the community amidst challenges.

Drawing a sharp contrast with unfulfilled political promises made by some politicians, the Oba hailed Chief Akika’s commitment, stating, “Come rain or shine, Chief Benedict Akika is always there for us, initiating various projects, empowering our people, and providing monetary aid to support local businesses.”
