In a grand celebration, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State led a high-profile delegation to Kano for the wedding ceremony of Folami Tilewa Said, the Director General of Oyo State Investment and Public Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA), to his heartthrob, Zeinab.

Deputy Governor Aminu AbdulSalam of Kano played host to Governor Makinde and his entourage, ushering them into the mosque for the official handing over of the bride, Zeinab.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of key dignitaries from Kano State, including Commissioner for Women Affairs Hadjia Aisha Lawal Shaji, Commissioner for Special Duties Hadjia Amina Sanni, and Commissioner for Education Umar Haruna Doguwa.

The mother of the groom, Chief Mrs Mutiat Olayinka Ladoja, former first lady of Oyo State and member of the PDP Board of Trustees, expressed overwhelming joy as Governor Makinde joined her in Kano for the joyous occasion of her son Tilewa Folami Said.

Governor Makinde’s entourage comprised prominent figures such as Hon. Adedeji Olajide Odidiomo, House of Representatives member representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, House of Rep member representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo, hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, house of representatives member representing Ibadan south-east/north-east federal constituency of Oyo in federal house of representatives, Chief Bayo Lawal, Senior Executive Assistant to Governor Makinde, Shipping Magnate Chief Isaac Jolapamo, Chairman of Oyo State Civil Service Commission Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe, Barr Sulaiman Niyi Adewole, President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigene(CCII), Engineer Nureni Adisa, Chief Bisi Ilaka Mr and Mrs Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim Bibire, Mr and Mrs Omikunle, Mr and Mrs Busari Kunle, Mogaji Ariori, the President of all the Mogajis, Mogaji Adanla and Hon. Busari Olayemi.

The wedding, graced by political, business, and community leaders, showcased the unity between Oyo and Kano states, marking a significant chapter in the lives of Folami Tilewa Said and Zeinab.
