In another significant endorsement of the continuation of the Ward tour across the Royal Council on familiarisation with the candidates and the party leadership, faithful members, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 05 members have assured Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji WABKEM, his vice Badmus Olaide Ismail and all Councilorship candidate 100 percent alignment to their people-oriented policies.
Ward 05 party faithful made this declaration on Tuesday at their weekly meeting held at Oke-Olola primary school, Oke-Olola, Oyo, Oyo State.
Speaking during the meeting, Owotabua and Baba Omo Onile lauded the humanity per excellent exhibit by the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem, his vice Badmus Olaide stressing that they’re indeed a great unifier, with all the stress, storm, they never give up and their efforts crown excellently.
“With this your greatest step taken, we’ll continue to align with your people-oriented policies in transforming the Royal Council. We’re in total support of our ward Councilorship candidate, Hon. Ademola Kayode Adeniyi, he knows where the shoe pinches, and as well, we’ll rally around with massive votes to ensure your victory at the poll” he assured.
Also, Hon. Folorunsho, the former Royal Council leader of the House at the return of democracy in 1999, commended Atiba People’s Democratic Party for accepting all the candidates ahead of the council poll, he noted that the incoming administration will perform excellently well and fulfill their promises of all-inclusive governance.
“Every household in Atiba knows Wabkem has always been about serving humanity and moving as many people as possible in the Royal Council from poverty into prosperity. This has remained a mantra for their incoming administration, as they seek to pursue people-centered policies and programs” he stated.
On behalf of the women’s constituency, Mrs. Alirat Azeez urged the incoming legislative to make productive laws that will enhance grassroots development. She further maintained that women’s empowerment and political appointment should be given priority.
Equally, the PDP Party Chairman in Atiba, Hon. Kabiru Ashamu, and the state executive of the party, Alh Olanrewaju Muhammed urged the party members to vote massively across units, and wards to record landslide victory for the party candidates.
In his remarks, Hon. Waliu Adetunji WABKEM commended Ward 05 party members for their warm reception. He assured them of significant people’s oriented policies, capacity building, and mega empowerment programs targeted toward economic recovery.
He maintained that his foresight toward rebuilding the legacy of the Royal Council remains intact noting that he’ll use his connection to woo investors and create job opportunities for the teaming youth and unemployed graduates without any forms of nepotism, favoritism, or tribalism.
He further hailed Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu, Barrister Seun Ashamu, Hon. Gbenga Oyekola, and Hon. Kamil Mudashiru Akinlabi for their great leadership role and support for his candidacy.
He further affirmed that he’ll use his connection towards investors and create job opportunities for the teeming youths and graduates.
