Following her screening by the Oyo state House of Assembly Committee on Trade and Investment, chaired by Hon. Mobaje, on Thursday, the Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Princess Folashade Azeezat Abeo NURUDEEN, expressed her admiration for Governor Seyi Makinde’s discernment in his selection of seasoned individuals for key roles in his cabinet.
She gave the commendation while addressing journalists at the House of Assembly complex shortly after her successful screening.
Princess Abeo equally extended her hearty congratulations to the newly appointed officials and wished them a successful tenure in office as they embark on their new responsibilities.
Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde had through the office of his chief of staff, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, announced the appointments of individuals into boards and other agencies on Wednesday.
The appointees include Oloye Suraj Abiodun – Special Adviser (Education Intervention); Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran – Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB); Dr Gbola Adetunji – Chairman, Oyo State Agency for the Control of AIDS (OYSACA); Alhaji Murtala Ahmad – Special Assistant (Community Relations) I, Arewa Community; Nwosu Innocent – Senior Special Assistant (Community Relations) 2, Igbo Community; Saka Moshood Olawale – Senior Special Assistant (OYSIEC); Hon. Yemi Taiwo – Chairman, Oyo State Library Board; Hon. Rauf Adekunle – Chairman, Oyo State Pension Board and Hon. Dare Adeleke – Special Adviser (Federal Constituency Matter).
Others were Mr Rahman Abiodun Abdulrahim – Chairman, Education Trust Fund; Hon. Abiodun Awoleye Dada – Chairman, Oyo State Primary Healthcare Board; Rt. Hon. Atilola M.O. – Chairman, Oyo State Scholarship Board; Hon. Akinsete Olakunle – Special Adviser, Housing and Urban Development; Hon. Simeon Oyeleke – Special Adviser, Budget and Economic Planning; Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo – Special Adviser, General Intervention & Donor Agencies; Hon.
