The immediate past Committee Chairman on Information, Media and Publicity in Oyo State House of Assembly and the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Olorunsogo LG in the forthcoming Local Government Elections, Hon. Kazeem Olayanju has expressed his appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the appointment of his traditional ruler.
Hon. Olayanju’s commendation comes in the wake of the governor’s recent appointments of chiefs from Igbeti Land.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Olayanju and made available to newsmen, he applauded Governor Makinde’s commitment to justice, unity, and the preservation of the cultural heritage of Igbetiland.
Hon. Olayanju described these virtues as truly commendable and expressed his admiration for the governor’s role in the appointments of Prince Bashir Olalekan Abioye as the next Onigbeti of Igbeti Land, Chief FATAI SURAJUDEEN OLAPOJU as the new Elemosho of Igbeti Land, and Chief Bashir Bello as the new Olonko of Igbeti Land.
