In a jubilant spirit of endorsement galore, Leaders and Stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Atiba local government, Offa-meta, Oyo, have put aside their differences and declared openly for the Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (WABKEM), his Vice, Hon. Badmus Olaide Ismail, and the ten (10) Councilorship Candidate at the next year council elections.
Heritage Echo News gathered that the appearance has been noted for a landslide victory, week(s) after the final clearance of all candidates by the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) headquarters in Ibadan.
The leaders which include, Alh. Pa Agboola (Bot Chairman), Alh Olatunji Kadiri, Alh Ajeepe, LG Party Chairman Hon. Kabir Ashamu, State Excos Alh Olarenwaju Muhammed, LG Party Excos, stakeholders and all Ward Chairmen ably led by Yusuf AbdulRahaman (Owo tabua) affirmed their support to massively deliver across units, and wards in the Royal Council for People’s Democratic Party, being the only supreme party in the state based on the developmental agenda of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, blessed them with prayers, raising along with them the hand of victory ahead of the poll.
The state read in parts;
“We the Royal Council Chieftains, stakeholders, local executives, and ward Chairmen resolved to work in unity for the landslide victory of our candidates across the board based on their sterling readiness to exhibit all-inclusive administration when fortune smiles on them”.
“We’ve put forward a highly respected caliber of integrity candidate, worthy in character, understanding our local politics, placing high regards for thorough dividends of democracy, ably responsive and responsible to the yarning of the people”.
“We the stakeholders of the party believe that the local government election is a litmus test as well as a foundation for future elections.
“Our candidates are on the path of sustained economic prosperity at the local level, aimed to display a rare political tact with strong foresight and focus that are very commendable of a trusted leader.
We strongly believe that our candidate will toe the legacy of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde infrastructural revolution at the Royal council, thereby promoting our party beyond rhetorics”.
“We the Royal Council leaders believe that our official declaration is a clear demonstration of faithful, trust, and determination of a people committed to a common goal of a prosperous future as exemplified by the Jagunmolu of Southwestern Nigeria politics, Engr Seyi Makinde.
We the Royal Council leaders emphatically called on the aggrieved individuals to put politics away but as the game is already over and joins hand with the moving trains of Wahab Waliu Adetunji (Wabkem), his vice Badmus Olaide Ismail and all the Ten Ward Councilorship candidate not from a distance but from a round table of brotherhood to build modern Atiba of our dream devoid of nepotism, favoritism, and tribalism.
