Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, a dedicated member of the People’s Democratic Party and aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives in Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the last general election, has commended Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and remarkable achievements in Oyo State.

Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, a seasoned administrator, highlighted the recent approval to convert ad-hoc staff to permanent positions as a commendable move that ensures job security and stability within the local government system.

In a statement, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami emphasized the significance of the newly-commissioned Local Government House and Staff Training School.

“This monumental accomplishment reflects Governor Makinde’s commitment to efficiency and productivity within our local government system.

These new facilities will provide a conducive environment for our employees to excel in their duties,” he stated.

Hon. Salami also praised the governor’s efforts in addressing the backlog of salaries, pensions, and gratuities.

“Governor Makinde’s responsible and compassionate governance is evident in his dedication to the welfare of our workers and retirees.

The clearance of outstanding payments has brought much-needed stability and dignity to many families,” he remarked.

He further acknowledged the governor’s strategic initiatives, including the upgrading of healthcare facilities and educational infrastructure.

“The collaboration with local councils to upgrade 209 primary healthcare centers and complete about 60 model schools has significantly improved the quality of life for our residents.

These projects are a testament to Governor Makinde’s visionary approach to governance and sustainable development,” Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami noted.

Expressing his appreciation for the governor’s ongoing infrastructure projects, Hon. Salami reaffirmed his support for Governor Makinde’s administration.

“Governor Makinde’s leadership continues to inspire confidence and hope among the citizens of Oyo State.”
