Hon. Olusoji Alade, the Social Secretary of Omo Ajorosun Club, has extended his congratulations to Dr. Ibraheem Oduola Lawal on his appointment as the Provost of the Federal College of Forestry and wild life management, Ibadan.

Dr. Lawal, who also serves as the General Secretary of Omo Ajorosun Club, is celebrated for being the first Ibadan indigene to hold this prestigious position.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Olusoji Alade highlighted the significance of Dr. Lawal’s appointment, not only for the individual but also for the Omo Ajorosun Club.

He expressed his pride in seeing a member of their club achieve such a notable milestone and emphasized the importance of this appointment for the Ibadan community.

“Dr. Ibraheem Oduola Lawal’s appointment is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and excellence in his field.

It is a proud moment for all of us at Omo Ajorosun Club to see one of our own rise to such an esteemed position.

This achievement marks a new era of excellence for the Federal College of Forestry and wildlife management Ibadan,” said Hon. Alade.

“I am confident that Dr. Lawal will bring innovative leadership and make significant contributions to the institution.”

Dr. Ibraheem Oduola Lawal is a distinguished academic, holding a PhD in Phytomedicine/Ethnobotany from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa.

He previously earned a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAB).

Hon. Olusoji Alade wished Dr. Lawal success in his new role, expressing confidence that his expertise and dedication will bring great advancements to the Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan.
