Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, the House of Assembly member representing Ibadan North Constituency 2, has commended Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for his visionary leadership and outstanding contributions to the development of Oyo State.

Hon. Gabriel praised the recent decision to convert ad-hoc staff to permanent positions as a significant step towards ensuring job security and stability within the local government system.

Hon. Gabriel highlighted the significance of the newly-commissioned Local Government House and Staff Training School.

“The commissioning of these state-of-the-art facilities underscores Governor Makinde’s vision for an efficient and productive local government system.

These new facilities will provide a conducive environment for our employees to excel in their duties,” he stated.

Hon. Gabriel also lauded the governor’s efforts in clearing the backlog of salaries, pensions, and gratuities.

“Governor Makinde’s humane and responsible governance is evident in his dedication to the welfare of our workers and retirees.

The meticulous approach to clearing outstanding payments has significantly improved the lives of many families in Oyo State,” he remarked.

He further acknowledged the governor’s strategic initiatives, including upgrading healthcare facilities and educational infrastructure.

“The collaboration with local councils to upgrade 209 primary healthcare centers and complete about 60 model schools reflects Governor Makinde’s visionary approach to sustainable development.

These projects have significantly improved the quality of life for our residents,” Hon. Gabriel noted.

Expressing his appreciation for the governor’s ongoing infrastructure projects, Hon. Gabriel reaffirmed his support for Governor Makinde’s administration.

“Governor Makinde’s leadership continues to inspire confidence and hope among the citizens of Oyo State.

We are committed to supporting his transformative policies and working together to achieve a prosperous future for our state,” he concluded.
