The 2024 Annual Conference of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo is set to commence tomorrow, Monday, September 2nd, 2024.

The programme, which will host participants for various tertiary institutions across the country, will be declared open by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan.

According to a release signed by the University’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Wale Adeoye, the 2024 Alayande University Annual Conference with the theme, “Education, Employability and Sustainability: A Triple Helix For Development” will have the former Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Emeritus Professor Olufemi A. Bamiro as the Keynote Speaker while Professor M.O.B Muhammed, Director, General Studies Programme, Lagos State University, Lagos will be the Lead Paper Presenter 1 and Professor Ngozi Odiaka of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi as the Lead Paper Presenter 2.

The release, quoting the Director, Research Management and International Programmes, Dr Ademola I. Atanda indicates that the Conference which will be held at the University 500-Seater Hall, beside the University Sport Complex will feature the following sub- themes, Higher Education and Youth Employability; Gender Issues in Educational System; Higher Education and Sustainable Development Goals; Emerging Techniques and Innovation for Teaching, Learning and Research; ICT, Computational, Science Education, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence; Research and Development; Security and Sustainable Development Goals; Policy and Governance in Education; Vocational, Technology and Employability and Climate Change and Sustainability.

“The parallel sessions will hold between Monday, September 2nd and end on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 while participants are to depart on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024”, the release concluded.
