The Political Head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple has had a maiden meeting with the Market Leaders in Ajorosun LCDA.
In a bid to fulfill his electioneering campaign to incorporate all stakeholders in his administration, the Political Head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple held a maiden meeting with the Market Leaders in Ajorosun LCDA.
The event which took place at the Local Council Hall, had in attendance, Alhaji Tajudeen Adegoke, the Babaloja-In-General, Alhaja Moriyeba Rafiu, the Iyaloja-In-General, representatives of Onibuore Market, and Olodo Market.
While the Babaloja, Chief Babatunde Babasola and the Otun Iyaloja, Chief Mrs. Adijat Yusuf led the delegation from Welcome To Egbeda Market, Iwo-Road.
While addressing them, Hon. Oladebo Simple requested for their cooperation, urging them to pay their dues as at when due in order to foster the development of the Council.
He also advised them to be on the lookout, be vigilant and report anyone caught to be disrupting the peace of their respective markets. “if you see something, say something and necessary step will be taken immediately.”
In his closing remarks the Council Boss reminded them of the recent Cholera outbreak, he said that cholera is an infection people have mostly via contaminated drink or food ingestion” therefore they must always keep their markets clean and ensure that their goods are safe and free from contamination.
The Babaloja-In-General, Alhaji Tajudeen Adegoke gave Kudos to the Political Head for meeting with them, adding that this kind of meeting has never happened before.
He therefore assured him of their support adding that the message would be delivered to their people.
He promised that there will be synergy between the government and the market people for effective results. He then prayed for God’s wisdom, guidance and greater heights in his political ambition.
In attendance were the Ag.HLGA Mr. C.O. Alalade, Director of Admin and General Services, Mr. Adelu, Director of Education and Social Services, Mr. Olayiwola, Director of Finance, Mr. Wasiu Olanrewaju, Director of Budget, Mrs. Adegbite, Auditor, Prince Adeyemo, D.T. Mrs. Adeboje and Mrs. Odubanjo, the Rate Officer.
