Philanthropy is the word that comes to mind when one thinks of Chief Benedict Akika. The man is a moving monument of thoughtfulness and consideration.
It is not his wealth that makes him different from us—he is neither the wealthiest nor the most famous. But, Akika will give the bit he has, then the bulk he has, and everything else.
The AgbaAkin of Olorunda-Abaa and Mayegun Akobo-ojorin Oloye Benedict Akika an epitome of love for humanity- desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.
Through unprecedented donations in communities of Oyo State, the gentle kindhearted man has been helping people, building infrastructures, and supporting initiatives to eradicate poverty and debilitating diseases.
His guiding mantra is “to whom much is given, much is required. He has done so well in all aspects of the societal economy.
In recent times, AgbaAkin has empowered over 1000 persons, donated several infrastructures in the community and participated in developmental projects.
AgbaAkin Akika stood at the head of this assembly and brought true light to life among the people. There are few things that can touch the hearts of individuals and open them up to kindness.
Thanks to people like Chief Benedict Akika; these things are possible.
